1.3.14 allegro

The cuties helped me make cupcakes for jubi's party.  They were pretty helpful and didn't drive me crazy.   I probably stopped a few times to take a few deep breaths.  I'm working on my tone and patience.  

Cherry chip cake mix. Moist recipe.  Haha. I saw a post on Facebook about how the word moist should never be used to describe cake.  Jeni Morris posted it.  And I distinctly Remember us having this convo at Chloe's party.  ---> that was a Bunny trail

I can't Remember exactly because it's been a Month.  But I'm pretty sure jubi moved on to something else after that

Sidenote. (another bunny trail).   While I am typing this post-- Gabriel peeks in my room and sees me laying in bed.  The door is cracked and he asks what I'm doing.   I explain to him that if he sees me sleeping he should not talk to me.  And he pokes his head in a little further. Says "huh?"  And then falls over.  

****my son falls over more than any human I know.  Excluding the amount of times jimmy Fallon fell over on his end of year special.  

I started laughing.  Hiding it.  Then I see that he's not going to cry (like he usually does ) and I start laughing hysterically. I'm thankful we actually laughed together.   Normally.  He would have started fussing after he realized I was cracking up at him.  

Anywaysssss.  Jubi was About done.  And surprisingly g was still interested.  He Said. "can we mix it Allegro?" 

" what does that mean?" (I knew.  I knew.  )

"faaast. ". ( with a chuckle and mischievous grin on his face. )

And so we did.  

No pix of the finished product yet bc they're on Grammy's camera.  

Progress

Homegirl has finally decided its ok to eat wheat chex.  Hallelujah for UNsugary cereal.  She's also a big fan of "eatmeal".  Oatmeal.  And has been for a long time.  She can put away a big bowl of it in proabably 5 minutes flat.  Maybe 7.  

Boy can she wedge in a spoonful. :0)

History

That's what the plugs are at this point. I had to document jubi's last time to have her plugs in bed.  

She is actually pretending to sleep in the above pic.  

And this is when I snuck into her room.  

She's.  Actually sleeping here.  Sweet nugget. 

We are pretty much back to Normal with sleeping.  She does wake up more now , I think. She asks me to cover up her animals.  At 2or 3:00AM.  

One more.  

Up, up & away

We sent jubi's neenee plugs away.  The day before her birthday.   

Before I handed them over. 

One last fix. 

She walked with them for a few minutes.  And I told her she could let them go.  She said "I don't want to.  "

So then I told her she had to let them go. 

 She paused and pondered for about 2 seconds. And then opened up her hand.

I think she told me she wanted them back.  Or wanted them to come back.  I told her minnie mouse was at home waiting for her.  She didn't cry or fuss. 

Gabriel said he thought the plus flew to heaven.  

We had fun playing at the Viking hills playground in the chilly weather and then went to get a celebratory cookie at the mall.  

Contrary to popular belief I did not plan to be away at bedtime. I realized on our way to the mall that I was supposed to meet up with the EBGs that evening. Actually, Roy reminded me.    So Roy put her to bed with Minnie.  And he said she did fine.  She did call him back in and ask to be held.  

I will say that her bedtime shenanigans have increased since the plug release.  Telling me she needs to potty.  After she just got off the potty.   Fussing.  Crying.   

"ummm.  Mom.   I need to teuw you summping" 

"mom.  I have a sweecket" (secret) "I'm talkin' bout.  Ummmm.  "

It's comical. For a few minutes.  Not the crying fussing part though.  Obviously.  

Anywho. She has actually bucked a nap two times now.  {deep breath}

All in all.  Not that bad.  

The first two mornings sans plug she woke up at 7:00ish.  Which is an hour or more earlier than normal for her.   But today she slept til 9:45.  Which is prolly why she's not napping today. I love that nugget.  Believe it or not-- being the nap natzi isn't so bad.  Gabriel will still take a nap some days. 

Christmas day with the in-laws

It was so fun to be with all the cousins.  

We gathered around the Christmas tree & bunch o presents & listened to Marvin share about the true meaning of Christmas & prayed.  And then the chaos began!

It was jubilee's first year to get all up in the mix.   

Here's Lollipop rippin' it up.  

She loves her little cabbage patch and calls her Caroline and Lanie.  

Grandma made a boat load of spaghetti and meatballs.  Jubilee wanted seconds and possibly thirds. 

I think I bribed Gabriel with a soda do he'd  eat.  -->winning

These two darlings have been warned that they're not supposed to be taller than Aunt Jeni before the reach the age of 10. 

I think Haley will be in compliance--- she has until May-- and needs to grow about 5-7inches.  It could totally happen though.  

This girl is just as beautiful as ever. I  Love sweet Lacy poo.  AKA Minnie mouse.  

Oh the cousins had fun outside!

We went for a walk

Did I mention how sweet Haley is? She loves holding jubilee; however, Jubilee does  not quite love  being held . Haha.  

James had to bail before I could get a kid pic.   Off to menard.  

And we finally got to see a couple of the Ft. Worth Franklin cousins!

The furrbeez were a hit.  And slightly creepy. I love to hear jubi say "fuw bee"

And the cherished kid pic.  Missing James, Ella, jolee & lanie.  

And lacy even smiled just for me;0)
