Jubiness

So there was that time that Jubilee got some Q-tips and dusted the fine detail works of our cabinetry and baseboards. 8/26/15. 

But there were also many many times she made up beds.  Without bring asked to.  That she hadn't even slept in.  For fun.  She likes making beds.  #minijeni

And.  Oh.  The way she makes our bed.  Inches along the sideboard. And crawls across head of the bed. 

And isn't she so sweet sleeping on the same sheets I slept in 30 years prior. 

She's actually reading.. And some of it's from memory..

Sweet helper.

This girl.  Helped me get all if dinner on the table. Fixed it all just so.  And kept thinking if sweet things to do for her big bro.  She let him pick the banana half he wanted.  Let him pick the chair he wanted.  Offered to eat his banana for him. 

Remembered to get out the moby.  He was so content in there tonight.  So glad he's feeling better.  Sweet buddy has had fever about 8/17 days in august so far. 😢

Date nights

Special date with my sweet 7 year old boy. We went to the zoo first. Walked around in the afternoon heat if august for almost 2 hours. G said this snake was "playing" with him. 

Then we drove to homestead hairdid😉 like we planned to do for weeks and there was a 90+minute wait.  So we  went home and then drove back later for dinner. 

It was so nice to be with just him. Sweet, sweet boy.  And very silly. 

Poor sweet baby boy. You know he doesn't feel good when he lets me leave a washcloth on top of his head. 

103+ temp again. Muy muy no bueno. 

G wanted me to take a pic before I threw it away... 😏

Tried to snap a pic of them saying "whoooooa".  

AZ got behind the pew and stood up.  That was a leetle tricky extracting him. 

Joshua came over so he could see the tadpole.  He was the first to discover that the tadpole grew arms. 

From Wednesday- from legs first spotted- to this- 3 days later..

And pretty much a frog 3 days after this pic...

What's going on here? You might ask.... Gabriel is playing with a ninja turtle crayon while his little sister is finishing up writing a thank you note for him. It's kind a like pulling teeth to get him to write thank you notes. And I didn't feel like bribing him with screen time today... So Jubilee happily agreed to write the second half of  the sentence for him.

This peace- while playing world War II on paper- lasted a short bit. Until G started explaining all the ways he was winning in their made-up game. 

He loves this rifle. 

And this piece of "cheese". 

The cheese is much more easily transported.  

But no lie- he's dragged the rifle from one end of the carpet room to the other. Plenty.
