Tea party. On a Monday afternoon

Seriously.  This doll starts kinder in 5 months. I'm trying to soak up every Monday and Wednesday i can with her.  She said she wanted to have a party. 

She started off wearing AZ's courdoroy jacket and g's black hat.  I said lets out on a dress.  She asked if I was going to. I said- sure!!!

She even wore pearls 😊 and added a pink bow to her crown. 

We put in makeup too. 

She wanted to know how to eat and drink without making her lipstick come off. 

And we actually had real food and drinks. Fizzy water. Naturally.

Here's the roses daddy got us for valentines day. 

Grammy stopped by.  I offered her a burrito.  And AZ decided he like it.  Ate half. 

Umm. I love the way she loves to organize and lay out things.

Jubi did this right before  bed. I told her to get in bed or pick up toys. She decided to tidy up everything.

Jubi made this out of the magnets aunt Linda gave her. 

And she wanted to wear a pink bandanna. 

With 2 piggy tails. 

She also talked me into getting her this active wear set at SAMs on Monday. $4.81. How could I deny her? It was practically a steal.  

She told me we'd match.. Thinking about what I wear to work. 

She was also working on me to buy this adorable raincoat with ladybugs on it and a ladybug face on the hood… It was $16 for what seemed to be a very cheap coat. Good thing I came to my senses and decided to pass on it.  It seem like the snaps were going to tear apart after you used them about seven times. 

Then she wanted a fort for nap time. 

I love this... Trying to reduce our collection of paper though..

So thankful we got to visit DL.  we had to cancel our trip 2 weeks ago because AZ was running fever. Thankfully, Grammy could come with us.  

As we turned in on belt line we noticed something very exciting.

Aside from the first 3 minutes, this boy spent the entire hour at the park by the water. 

He spotted these tortugas. 

He was mad that I didn't let him bring his net to scoop. "Really mad". 

We found some ducklings. 

Can't see it very well, but I love the blue- billed duck. 

G requested 2 burgers & I obliged him. 

Climbing Dorothy Lou's trees. 

One of the highlights of my trip was meeting DLs neighbor, Mr. Campbell. He told us all about  his beehive. Gabriel and jubi got to jump on the tramp & then g decided to shoot some hoops. The goal was at least 9-10 feet. He made the first shot!!!

DL- as usual,  warned us she'd break the camera.  Hasn't happened yet. 

It is simply remarkable how this woman just doesn't seem to age.  Remembering kameron's name (we mentioned Emily's friend from HS).  And then mom was talking about her next cruise & DL popped off the date mom was leaving. The things she remembers! 

Sacked out before we made it to the "tunnel" she was bugging about. 

Tiny Hands

This was accidental... Az was chasing after the bug that Gabriel was trying to let crawl to a safe space. Tiny hands are so precious.

Finally got a goal.  It's midseason- of our 2nd round of 🏀.  Just this week- g has become interested in basketball.  On Wednesday, He saw a kid walking down the street, dribbling between his legs.  So Thursday, during PE- he decided he'd learn to do the same... Yeah! I was so excited about his newfound level of determination! Thursday afternoon when he came home from school, he showed me his variation on the skill!

So thankful for our new scooter/ basketball patio!

AZ had a ball pushing around the dolly, and yes, he scooted it with jubi atop. 

Even while running fever- this boy loves getting work done. 

Woohoo!!! Basketball monster in the making. I encouraged him to make 25-30 baskets.  He totally did it! And then some. 

This girl.  She's gonna make one.
