Christmas 2014-part 2

We started the morning with Gimble's.
Opening presents from Grammy here.
Minnie mouse watch!
A big luxurious hotel stay for mom and dad.
Boba fett Lego watch for Gabriel.
Ammo for Roy
Emily doing her thing… Wearing all her gifts at once. No meltdown this year though. 😉

Snuggles with my goofy little Jubilee
Delicious and overwhelmingly  sweet pep oh mint cake from baked bliss. Had to freeze some of it because I got sugar overloaded.
A little Christmas posing while wearing grammy's Christmas apron.
It's not uncommon for us to do a smoochy kiss  picture… But it's even more fun now since we know that showing them to Erin Venable repulses her
This was the practice round before our Feliz Navidad video went viral.
First ever  family Christmas
picture with all five of us
Jubi getting a little cat nap on the way to Valley Mills

We finally passed off this "treasure" to Mary and Adam. Roy showed up with that one night at the pages on Christmas eve.   It has been sitting in the top of our kitchen closet for a couple of years. To our delight, Mary and Adam were thrilled about their gift.
Fun fact that I learned about grandma on Christmas… Since receiving her CHL, she is always packing heat.
Cousins on the couch. Jubilee sharing her Apple jacks with James
James being goofy as usual… And other cousins following suit.
A little more mac & cheese for the miss.
Shark house  shoes from uncle Jon
Giant eyelashes towering over flared nostrils… Trying to convince Julbi to go lay down on the pallet in the living room and be quiet so she and Gabriel can fall asleep. I ended up having to just let her stay up for a while until he fell asleep. Party animal. I think she was up till 11 PM
Adorable little Franklin girls
And Jack wanted in on this picture with uncle Carl.

Christmas 2014- part 1

We opened our gifts Christmas Eve morning.
Lego mania.
Rancor Legos for g.

Hello kitty for J.

And I finally had success with a half French braid.
Precious little hands at work.

We broke tradition this year.  The youngest page was sick-- rsv.  PoorLuke David. So we spent Christmas Eve at home. Auntie me came over.  They attempted to make gingerbread houses.
Then me went home and we drove around and looked at Christmas lights.
Every Franklin baby must be held by uncle Carl.
He was content until the kissing ensued.
Aunt Mary gave AZ lots of love, and some raspberries he had no idea what to think about.
And he was done with being held by
The time he got to Lacy.
Quinn is super sweet to his cousins.

Four months 2.14.15

Seriously?! Slow down, time!!
My sweet littlest valentine.
Happy sweet boy. AZ loves his hands. AND of course mommy daddy big sister and brother.  This boy is almost all smiles. He is ticklish on his back and neck and feet.

Turns out maybe I don't need glasses as badly as I thought I did. Just need a little more light to trim the babe's fingernails.

March madness

Really- I'm not mad.  yet. 😜We've been hibernating for months.  FOUR months and counting to be exact. We had a beautiful sunshiny day last month.  Well, we've had a few.  But this particular day we actually went to a park.  Roy let the kids fly a kite for the first time.
Yes. The kids even wore shorts! I think it may have been 78?
Love her little pose.
But-- back to the story.  We've had snow, sleet, ice and rain all in one day.   Probably sunshine on that day too.  ðŸ˜†
Jubi's School was canceled twice in the past nine days.  Gabriel's has been delayed and canceled and we played hooky one day because Roy didn't want us to drive.
Here's a few pix from last week's snow.
👀❤️❄️.  For reals.
Today, both of the kids schools were canceled. We ended up going to lunch at Homestead. Finally got to go on a cold day and the fire was Burning very lowly.
Oh, I'd have loved spending the morning like this.
In other news Jubilee told me she was having a baby shower for herself yesterday. This is how she got dressed up for it. (Minus the red superman cape she had on).
